Spring Fling
Took the boys to the Spring Fling on Sunday, Joaquin seems very hesitant to get on the rides, but loved to play the games. Maceo slept through most of it. I can’t wait for the boys to get a bit older and really be able to enjoy things like a small weekend fair!  Hopefully Joaquin will have outgrown the epilepsy by then!

My little man...
So this post os on my youngest son…Maceo.  He has started to really talk a lot in the past few weeks…It such an amazing thing to see your kids actually have a semi-conversation with you.  Even if it’s only a few words back and forth!

Light at the end of the tunnel...
Feeling good today, Joaquin’s Dr. feels that if we can get his episodes under control within a few months, that we may be seizure and medicine free within a couple of years! With that also comes the worry that it could go the other way…surgery or a VNS…but I’ll bank on the positive today…I love my little man and want nothing but the best for him!

Epilepsy Walk
I did the walk today and was supported by a lot of our friends.  I felt overwhelmed by how much our friends care about my son….The walk started @ 9am and they were all there with bells on…Thank god for friends that feel like family.

Rough Days
So today hasn’t been the best for my little man.   We have had clost to 35 staring spells today…just need these meds to work.  He’s so strong…he just picks up from where he left off and moves forward like nothing is wrong!  Here is to my handsome little boy!
